BM488 – 15 PPM Bilge Alarm
The 15ppm bilge alarm type BILGMON 488 is type approved to meet the requirements of IMO Resolution MEPC.107(49), and with its small dimensions it is ideal also for retrofit on existing separators. The smart detachable measuring cell with wireless communication is easy to remove and replace with a newly calibrated cell, if this is preferred to having the system accuracy checked on board. On special request the BILGMON 488 is also available as a 5ppm version meeting the requirements of Class notation “Clean Design”.

Oilcap 158 – Oil Detector
The Oil Contamination Alarm type OILCAP 158 measures capacitance between its rod and the walls of the water tank where it is installed. Lower capacitance indicates a higher concentration of oil in the water. The OILCAP 158 has an adjustable alarm limit, and when the capacitance falls under the set value (the oil concentration rises), a relay with opening & closing contacts is activated with a 1 sec delay. When the capacitance again rises above the set value (the oil concentration falls), the relay is deactivated after a delay which is adjustable from 0 to 30 sec in steps of 2 sec. The OILCAP 158 is also equipped with an alarm relay to indicate power failure.
Silster 168 – Fresh Water Silver Ion Sterilizer
The Fresh Water Silver Ion Sterilizer type SILSTER 168 is based on a well proven method used for ages. Using silver ions for disinfection is completely harmless to humans, meeting the requirements of European Community directive 80/778/EEC. As an added benefit you avoid the piping corrosion normally caused by chlorination. The SILSTER 168 automatically sterilizes the water of the fresh water holding tank with no need for crew interaction and practically no maintenance need. Also bunkered water can be sterilized without manual setting of current and time. The long lasting sterilizing effect of the silver ions combined with the fact that it doesn’t change the taste, smell or colour of the water makes it ideal for a number of applications.
